Technical requirements
AccuRadio works with Internet Explorer version 5.5 and higher, and new versions of Netscape (7.1 and higher). Firefox users will be prompted to install a small plugin upon channel launch to allow AccuRadio to work. Mac users need OS "Panther" or "Tiger" (PowerPC or Intel) with all the latest updates installed: AccuRadio will work with Safari, Firefox, and Camino.
Having problems launching AccuRadio? The two most-likely problems are caused by pop-up blockers or your browser's security settings. Possible fixes are described here. (Answers to many other tech questions are in our FAQ.)

Future Perfect Radio's SXSW 2010 channel is the next best thing to being in Austin
 It seems like the world goes to Austin, TX this time every year, for rock's premiere music showcase, SXSW (South By Southwest). Whether you're lucky enough to be there for it, or simply "playing along at home," you need to check out the SXSW channel of AccuRadio's Future Perfect Radio. | News: Webcasters reach royalty deal with music industry |
After months of negotiation, Internet-only webcasters and the music industry have finally reached an agreement on royalty rates for the period of 2006-2015!
AccuRadio CEO Kurt Hanson played a lead role in the rate negotiations, working with representatives from other webcasters, including Pandora, Digitally Imported, and radioIO, and attorney David Oxenford. The deal will have AccuRadio paying about 14% of our revenues to SoundExchange, which represents record labels and recording artists, until we hit $1.25 million in annual revenues, 25% of our revenues in the following year after that, and a per-song, per-listener rate after that. Many AccuRadio listeners helped by calling or e-mailing their Congressmen regarding the issue, back when it looked as if we on the brink of extinction.
