Country legend Conway Twitty born Sept. 1, 1933

Did you know Conway Twitty got an offer to play pro baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies after high school (spoiler: he went into the army instead). He's a member of both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. He was just 59 when he died June 5, 1993.
