Birthday: T. Rex's Marc Bolan (9/30/47)

Marc Bolan was once called the pixie prince of glam rock. Bolan founded T. Rex in the late '60s as a psychedelic folk band, and his solo work in the mid '70s began to marry the influences of funk, soul, gospel, and disco. We're celebrating the anniversary of his birth by featuring his work with T. Rex on these channels.
