I’m not a native Jersey Girl but one thing I’ve come to appreciate is all the great bands this state has to offer. Beyond Bruce, Bon Jovi and Blondie, I bet you’ll love Southside Johnny, The Smithereens, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Bongos.
It’s my favorite era of rock and, judging by its popularity, the top choice of lots of other AccuRadio listeners! Rock out to bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Black Crowes, Soundgarden, R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Spin Doctors, Metallica, Gin Blossoms, Goo Goo Dolls and Foo Fighters.
One day, driving back from the Jersey Shore, my bf and I tried to think of as many songs as possible with girls’ names. We got to about 50 off the top of our heads then I found lots more with a little research. This is a fun channel not just because of the names but because it features a lot of great upbeat music.
